I was born in Bucharest, Romania. At the age of five, my family and I made a major life change and decided to plant our roots in beautiful South Carolina. Since then, I have split my time between the United States and Europe. I have always been fascinated by travel, history, and different cultures. On any given long weekend you can find me exploring a new area or diving into a good book.

Growing up in the Upstate of South Carolina, I was amazed at how much an area could transform through the attraction of the right businesses and industries. This sparked my research interests in foreign direct investment and the policies that could positively impact economic development. Take the time to explore my research.
